This was the worst experience I have ever encountered at a motel. First thing that happened was at check in. The guy behind the counter didn’t understand English. So that was a great start. Then it took the guy forever checking us in. Once we got to the room we started opening the curtains and turning on the lights low and behold two were not working. We tried everything. So we made a note to ask for bulbs. Then we proceeded to check the room throughly glad we did. The room had not been cleaned in ages. The cobwebs had dust on them. I looked at my friend and told her I was not sleeping in this bed. For what we paid for this room you would think they would clean it. Then we tried to plug in our phone and the wall sockets would not take them. By this time we were both very disgusted. So after we rested up we went out for dinner. That was excellent by the way. We came back to our room and stopped by at the front desk to ask for light bulbs. Well you would have thought we were going to steal them. We asked for two and he came back with one. Never never will I stay at that motel again. Definitely not a happy camper.
Unsavory on the outside, but clean, comfortable and quiet. Breakfast is nothing remarkable. Very nice staff.
If you're looking for a vacation spot - pass. If you need a quick place to sleep on a marathon drive - this'll do.
I should preface this by saying that we only stopped here to sleep, so we needed some place cheap and on the way. I gave it three stars for the price, location, and ease of check-in/check-out. It was fairly clean but a couple of the towels in the room had hair and stains on them. We also slept on top of the sheets on the bed.
The room was priced higher than the quality would suggest. It was about 30° outside when I checked in, it was about 40° inside my room, the heater had been turned off. The bathroom tile floors condensated over night to the point I nearly fell walking into the bathroom. The room really needed to be updated. I personally would not stay there again.
The location and price was great. Do to the unfriendly staff and lack of breakfast preparations I will not be a repeat customer.
