Location wasn't bad. Used it as a rest stop on our way to Madison, WI. It was easy to find. The rooms were clean, had everything we needed, free WiFi, running water, electricity, and a TV to watch the game that night. N/A on room service, only stayed one night. Otherwise, the hotel, though no Ritz, checked all boxes and exceeded expectations for the price.
The location is perfect, just 2 miles from the closest rest stop on RT-76. The hotel is decent in appearance which is fine. The staff was nice and accommodating for getting us a room at 2am. The room had a woody scent to it when first entered but didn't bother us as we stayed in the room. The room as a whole was clean, nothing to report. The breakfast was adequate for this size of hotel and just plain Continental style breakfast. As a whole, the cleanliness and service is great for the money you spend here.
Worst hotel I ever attempted to stay at! Made reservations a month early for 4 days Wed-Sun. Checking in, we were told they had wedding that weekend and would have to STICK us in room 117 which was a handicap room. We are not handicap, however she insisted the hotel was booked for the wedding. There where only 10 cars in the parking lot 9pm. Accepted the room to find a BAD smell. We could not even walk in the room. It was so bad, we went back to office to find she knowingly checked us into a room that someone had dropped their colostomy bag. Room smelled horrible and was not fit for anyone. Her and Manager knew about the smell all along. She called Manager and she acted like they didn't have a room to put us in due to wedding, but hotel was completely empty. She put us in another handicap room. Put our bags in room, turned on heat, went to dinner. An hour later came back to find heat did not work, it just blew cold air. Tried to use the phone to call the office and found it not to work. Office didn't believe we knew how to use thermostat, so she come down to prove us wrong. She found same, just cold air. She went back up to call manager, not knowing where we would stay because of the wedding (which is Sat. This is Wed 11pm). The hotel was still empty. She said may put us in a different room temporarily, but would have to move us back to the handicap room. Checked out at 11:50pm that night went to HAMPTON INN. Will never stay at the Quality Inn in Bedford ever again.
Great place to stay if you are looking for value, comfort, cleanliness and staff the is willing to go above and beyond to make sure your stay is comfortable. If safety is a concern then this is the hotel for you. We stay here often and always feel like we are at home.
Stayed in the dog friendly rooms, which were in the back. It was nice to be in a quiet part of the hotel, so the dogs wouldn't bark and the doors were on the outside, so no loud people walking past at all hours of the night. Also there was a green space a few feet away for the dogs to use.
